Aaron Rodgers Green Bay Packer gets Green Bay Street Named after him

If you’ve been following my blog for a while you know I’m a die hard Green Bay Packer Fan. It’s a way of life in Green Bay WI if you aren’t a Packer fan something must be in your water, and you might want it checked out. As a lot of Green Bay Packer fans I’m sick of the Brett Favre soap opera drama. The day Favre announced his first retirement from Green Bay I was in tears, as lame as that may sound I grew up watching him all the time and was a huge fan. With all the non-sense and flip-flopping I’ve slowly garnered away from Brett Favre.

What made the transition extremely easy was watching Aaron Rodgers and how he handled all of the Brett Favre publicity. I don’t even care how he played football his character was something that the NFL has lacked in some of the big name players for quite a while. Aaron Rodgers has quickly become an impressive team leader and I’m confident in his abilities to lead this team through many great seasons. When I read the story from the Appleton Post Crescent about renaming Minnesota Avenue to Aaron Rodgers drive I was touched. Aaron Rodgers isn’t a guy who wants all the attention he’s all about the TEAM! He deserves this great gesture from Mayor Jim Schmitt and I’m excited to be going to this weekend game against the Minnesota Vikings and watch us come together as a team and make a strong statement by beating the Vikings in Lambeau Field.

Aaron Rodgers, you sir are a class act and a great human being. The City of Green Bay is behind you 100%
