It’s hard to forget the memories of purchasing your first Green Bay Home. Mine was an exciting experience for a couple of different reasons. First I decided that I
wanted to invest in rental properties. Second I wanted someone to help pay some of the mortgage. When I was 20 years old I decided to purchase my first rental property. I knew that I wanted to live in Green Bay and be close to everything. After scouting a bunch of properties I quickly realized that there was a program offered by Green Bay Neighborworks. The Green Bay Neighborworks Down Payment Assistance program was designed to help bring home buyers to areas of Green Bay that were need in repair or new home owners.
Green Bay Neighborworks – Can Help You Purchase a Home!
I was able to take advantage of the Green Bay Neighborworks program and they assisted in me in additional closing cost money, and down payment assistance. So what’s the catch? Really theres not to much of a catch, other than you have to purchase a home in the Green Bay Impact Area. You have to participate in a Green Bay Homebuyer Education course, which I would strongly recommend even if you are not going to be using the program. Buying a Green Bay Home can be an intimidating process all the education you can get on the front end will make you feel a lot more comfortable. They also require that you get a home inspection which is always a must even if your not using the Green Bay Neighborworks program.
