The first time I was invited to play Oneida Golf and Country club I was extremely excited.  Initially upon arrival at Oneida Golf and Country Club I was greeted warmly by the staff and they set me up on a cart instantly.  The practice facility at Oneida Golf and Country Club offers a wide variety of practice options any golfer will appreciate.

As you approach the first tee at Oneida Golf and Country club you’ll instantly appreciate the high level of manicuring and layout.  If you have played Brown County Golf Course you’ll think of Oneida as a very similar layout with better greens and manicured to a whole different level.  With this being a private club you get the benefits of it having less play which shows throughout the whole round.

I’m a 9 handicap golfer and was a little intimated my first journey at Oneida Golf and Country Club.  After playing it a second time I started to feel more and more at home and could get more aggressive on pin placements.

So the part that was interesting to me was they mentioned they were working with an agent for four months and were getting nowhere.  After having a conversation I realized that there was a massive delay in communication on the agents part, and it resulted in the buyer feeling like they were losing out on potential homes.The Green Bay Real Estate market is hot right now and has been for the last 6 months even during the winter time. So it’s not  uncommon for homes to be under contract before we call.

Update on the Green Bay Real Estate Market

Today let’s take a look at a comparison going back from 2007 to 2013.  There are some very interesting things we can observe from this chart below.

In 2007 in the month of January, there was 132 sales.  In the month of January 2010, there were only 85 sales if we fast forward to 2013 there were 151 sales.

Now part of the lower sales in the 2009-2010 has to deal with the timing of  the tax credit that was offered to buyers, which accelerated purchases into a different season.

I remember when I was living in Green Bay as a young adult and my parents told me that we were moving to Georgia.  Starting middle school in a new area was not what I considered a great thing.  We spent three long years in Georgia and I was grateful to have the ability to experience a different state and culture.  What living in Georgia made me realize was how grateful I was to have an opportunity to move back to Green Bay WI.

My life consists of living on the Northeast side of Green Bay in Schmitt Park when I left the mothers nest I moved over to the Southwest Green Bay area and started my journey on building a family.   After that we decided to move to the Howard Suamico area.  All of these areas serve a very special place.  However enough about me this is about Why move to Green Bay.
