Green Bay Real Estate Agents Give Back – Neighborhood Outreach Day November 6th 2009

One of my goals for 2009 was to become more actively involved in my local Green Bay community. Our Realtor’s association has committees that local Green Bay Realtors can volunteer on. I decided that I wanted to become apart of the Equal Opportunity Committee. We put together a great initiative for Realtors in the Northeastern Wisconsin region called Neighborhood Outreach Day.

Local Green Bay Real Estate Agents donate time to help home owners in need!

On Friday November 6th volunteers from RANW’s membership will be banding together to make a difference in their local Real Estate Markets to assist home owners in need of raking and other yard maintenance needs.   Partnering with the Green Bay Volunteer center has given us an opportunity to help 12 homes in the Green Bay area.   We have roughly 30-40 Green Bay Real Estate Agents set to make a local difference in our communities.

Speaking for the whole Equal Opportunity Committee we are working towards making this a yearly program and hope to raise money to increase the amount of work that we can do in the near future.

Events like these take a lot of time and coordination and I’d like to thank a couple key business owners and people in our community that have donated time and money
