We all know someone or may have personally had a major struggle in our lives that really was difficult to go through.  In the world we live in today with a down economy, declining real estate prices, and an extremely high unemployment rate there a huge amount of people who are struggling.  It’s not uncommon in my field as a Green Bay Realtors that I come across families that are in financial hardship on a weekly basis.  I personally feel what is going on in so many hard working families  lives and sometimes it’s really hard to witness.  On the flip side I’ve become extremely passionate about helping people “Who owe more on their home than it’s worth, and don’t know what to do”.  Helping a family by prevent a foreclosure is one of the greatest things I can do in my career as a Green Bay Realtor.

We are all in this difficult economy and situation together.  You come across friends, family, and neighbors who probably have lost their job and are struggling financially.  It’s imperative if you know someone in this sad situation  that you introduce them to professionals that you can trust.  Make sure they seek legal counsel from an experienced real estate attorney.  Introduce them to a Green Bay Realtors you trust that has extensive experience in helping families “Who owe more on their home than it’s worth, and don’t know what to do.”  This is often labeled a short sale or pre foreclosure.

Think about it.  You hear on the news all this talk about foreclosures and short sales.  Who in there right mind purchases a home to be labeled a short sale.  Couldn’t they come up with a better name for people struggling a difficult and sometimes devastating situation.  So I’ve decided to come up with it on my own.  GreenBayGreg helps people who owe more on their home than it’s worth and don’t know what to do.

These situations are never good for our Green Bay Home values that’s just common sense.  What I have found is that if these homes were sold on a short sale, that we’d be seeing less foreclosures which have even a more devastating effect on a local Green Bay Home market.

It’s imperative if you do know someone that is faced with this type of heart wrenching situation that you offer to help them.  The best way to actually prevent a foreclosure from happening is to be pro-active on seeking out help preferably before you start to miss house payments.  So many times I get a phone call after 6 months of missed payments.  Not that we can’t still try to help but it really put’s in a backwards position.
